At the 2021 edition of the Pillars of Modern Ghana Awards, B5 Plus Limited was awarded the Platinum Economic Pillar company of the year. The event was held at the plush Volta Hotel in Akosombo in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The Pillars of Modern Ghana Awards was founded on the basis of recognising the individuals and corporate bodies that have contributed in making Ghana great. B5 Plus Limited is a West African company devoted to the manufacturing, fabricating, and trading enterprise with the vision of becoming the world’s steel industry benchmark through the excellence of its people and innovative approach.
On receipt of the award, the Chief Executive Officer of B5 Plus Limited, Mukesh Thakwani said, “B5 Plus is an economic Pillar for the Ghanaian Society that have directly and indirectly created more than 15,000 jobs, more than 1,000 sectors across Ghana, and are impacting all sectors by creating entrepreneurs for the future.”
With corporate headquarters in Tema Ghana, today, B5 Plus Limited operates in all the ECOWAS Countries, with a significant presence in African steel as an integrated manufacturer of steel and finished steel products.
